Stone-front bay rebuild
The bay window on this stone-front home had failed — the frames were rotted and the seals were long gone. We took the bay back to its framing, repaired the rot, and rebuilt it with a new energy-efficient casement set fitted tight to the masonry.
A bay window is only as good as the structure carrying it. After removing the old units we found soft, water-damaged wood at the jambs and head, which we cut out and replaced before any new glass went in.
The replacement is a set of Pella casements with low-E, argon-filled glazing — sealed, insulated, and trimmed cleanly back to the stone. The result is a tighter, brighter bay that will hold its seal for decades.
